Job Summary
Electronic Medical Records Associate for Mercy Home for Children in Brooklyn, NY, in an OPWDD setting. Primary responsibilities include coordinating and maintaining Mercy Home’s EHR (Therap) system, supporting the transition to the new Precision Care system, training staff on EHR usage, ensuring OPWDD compliance, and providing clerical support to the training and compliance departments. Requires collaboration with the EHR liaison, program management, clinical staff, and various departments; tasks include user account management, access control, ongoing technical assistance, and contributing to quality improvement and incident review processes. Ideal candidates have a BA/BS (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of OPWDD experience with electronic health records.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree preferred
- Experience with electronic health records (Therap or Precision Care systems) is required
- Minimum: 1-2 years’ experience with OPWDD services required
