Job Summary
As an Electronic-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing and troubleshooting of EHT power system products prior to delivery to customers. You will install circuit board components using approved soldering techniques, construct wiring harnesses, assemble power supply subsystems, utilize standard laboratory equipment to assess and troubleshoot electronic assemblies, construct test fixtures, document assembly and testing data, read engineering drawings and BOMs, operate hand tools for mechanical assembly, and interface with vendors and contract manufacturers to facilitate part procurement and manufacturing support. You will work closely with the technician and engineering teams to validate manufacturability and ensure high product quality, applying both electrical and mechanical skills in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Technical associate degree or graduate of electronic technical school or civ/mil equivalent
- 2+ years of related experience
- Experience reading schematics and drawings in English
- Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical assembly, soldering, and basic electrical test equipment
- Must have experience with the operation and use of basic machine shop tools
- Capable of operating standard electronic test equipment; oscilloscopes, DMM, frequency generators, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Knows when to ask questions to efficiently drive towards personal and team goals
- Must be self-motivated, self-sufficient, and able to switch from one task to another
- Needs to work well with others and be able to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English
