Job Summary
Electronic Maintenance Tech III responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing malfunctions in H-64 series armament, electrical, and avionics systems; performing maintenance, authorized modifications, and alignment on aircraft weapons components, fire control units, sighting elements, and electronic/mechanical devices; ensuring safety, proper documentation, and adherence to Army directives while supporting Army Flight Test Directorate operations at Redstone Arsenal (AFTD/AR 95-1 and AR 95-20). Requires aviation background with an electronics specialty, completion of Army Aircraft Armament Maintainers course, and at least 6 years of experience maintaining H-64 weapon systems; must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a Secret Clearance. On-site role with emphasis on fault isolation, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks, including managing pilot/crewmember records and complying with HAZMAT and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience in all aspects or safety, documentation, HAZMAT, training/licenses/certifications, scheduling, production control and management
- Must have analytical ability combined with knowledge and application of assurance principles and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have an aviation background with an electronics specialty
- Must have completed an Army Aircraft Armament maintainers course
- Must have at least 6 years of experience maintaining Army H-64 series weapon system
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
