Job Summary
Fabricate, assemble, and test industrial electronic prototype systems, including PCBA assembly with high reliability soldering and electromechanical test systems. Organize, document, and track electronic bills of materials and component procurement while creating and maintaining quality control documentation and testing results. Requires an Electrical or Electronics Technician Certificate, one to two years of experience in industrial electronics fabrication, and proficiency with SMT and Through Hole technology. This temporary six-month to one-year onsite assignment in Edmonton is part of Chemelex's global portfolio protecting critical processes through advanced engineering solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical or Electronics Technician Certificate, or Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology Diploma
- One to two years' experience fabricating, assembling or testing industrial electronics
- PCBA assembly including SMT and Through Hole technology
- High reliability soldering experience and training
- Hands on experience with hand and power tools
- Experience with Microsoft tools (Word and Excel)
- Temporary 6 month to 1 year assignment
- Onsite in edmonton
