Job Summary
Conduct advanced PCB design using CAD systems, including simulation and library creation for Renesas promotion boards. Develop complex high-speed microcontroller and SoC hardware while preparing design documentation and managing EMC aspects. Collaborate with counterparts across Europe, USA, and Asia to support global team initiatives. Requires soldering microscopic components, proficiency in Altium, and strong communication skills in German and English. This working student role is part of Renesas' TAGIE culture, driving embedded semiconductor solutions for Automotive, Industrial, Infrastructure, and IoT sectors.
Required Qualifications
- First experience of advanced PCB design CAD systems including design simulation
- Creation of PCB design library
- Development of PCB layout design of Renesas promotion boards
- Development of complex high-speed microcontroller and SoC hardware
- Preparation of design documentation
- Close cooperation with various counterparts in Europe, USA and Asia
- Good knowledge of CAD environment
- Knowledge of power and signal simulation on PCB design
- Ability to solder microscopic components
- Knowledge of microcontroller hardware design and related development processes
- Knowledge of EMC aspects in PCB design
- Strong initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to get things done
- Excellent presentation skills
- Good command of German and English language
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
