Job Summary
Provide first-line technical and functional support to staff across multiple sites, traveling as needed to navigate the EHR system and resolve common workflow issues. Collaborate with agency HIPAA and IT personnel to assign permissions, develop access protocols, and conduct regular audits of system access. Submit and track system bugs and performance issues to the EHR vendor while serving as the primary liaison for vendor communication and needs advocacy. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs, including customized sessions in groups, online, and on-the-job settings, while creating user-friendly materials like presentations and screen recordings. Analyze current workflows to identify improvement areas and stay abreast of system updates to provide proactive guidance. Work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a requirement for a valid California driver's license and personal vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of experience working with EHR systems in a healthcare setting
- Valid California Driver's License
- Personal auto liability insurance
- Must have a personal vehicle in good driving/operating condition
- Must be able to sit for extended periods
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Must be able to engage in frequent communication by phone, video, and in person
- Must be able to drive between different work sites
