Job Summary

Manage the Behavioral Health EHR by overseeing work processes, building workflows with vendors and clinical staff, and identifying inefficiencies to propose and implement solutions. Create and deliver EHR training, perform data analysis for clinical improvement, and evaluate patient care data against guidelines. Troubleshoot Epic-specific issues, add users and workstations, map printer destinations, and provide hands-on IT support for hardware and networking. Assist with billing, front office tasks, and developing agency QA plans while collecting and submitting payer reports. Monitor updates to OCHIN Apps and distribute stakeholder satisfaction surveys.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or a closely related field
  • 3-5 years of Information Technology experience, preferably within a healthcare organization
  • Experience working with EHR software, preferably Credible and Epic
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training
  • Knowledge of SQL and advance report writing
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and experience
  • Experience and sound judgement to plan and accomplish goals
  • Knowledge of computer operation and databases
  • The ability to analyze, model and interpret data
  • Use a methodical and logical approach to work and problem solving
  • The ability to work effectively with other employees, contractors and the general public
  • In depth knowledge of statewide system and guidelines, or the ability to acquire such knowledge
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must have a working knowledge of standard office equipment to include computer, phone system, and copier and fax machines
  • The position requires the handling of highly confidential information. Must adhere to rules and laws pertaining to client confidentiality
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats
  • Must have the ability to present and exchange information internally across teams and co-workers, and externally with customers and the public
  • Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380
  • PRE HIRE DRUG SCREEN REQUIRED
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • Must have personal auto insurance for privately owned Vehicles utilized for CCS business such as client service purposes, travel between business offices and the community, to attend required meetings and trainings
  • Must show proof of $300,000 or more liability coverage for bodily injury and $100,000 or more in property damage
  • Must maintain said level of coverage for the duration of employment at CCS
  • The employee's insurance is primary with CCS insurance being secondary
  • Must be able to use office automation including computer and phone system that requires fine manipulation, grasping, typing, and reaching
  • Must be able to sit for several hours reviewing reports and other written materials
  • Must be able to talk on phone
  • Must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds
  • Must be able to reach, bend, kneel and squat when adjusting equipment or retrieving supplies
  • Must be able to participate in vehicle travel between partner offices, individual homes, in the community, and to attend required meetings and/or trainings
  • Must be able to respond to environments where a client is in crisis
  • Must be able to take normal safety precautions typical of such places as an office

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in electronic health record navigation, including report writing and data mining is preferred
  • The Epic Site Specialist requires completing 16 courses to become a certified EHR Support Analyst and then a final Boot Camp to become a certified Site Specialist. This training can be provided after hire, it's not a prerequisite
