Job Summary
Electronic Health Record Analyst II responsible for the performance of tasks related to EHR system implementation, adoption, enhancement, and support including analysis, development, training, testing, documentation, go-live and ongoing support, problem resolution, and maintenance. Develops understanding of assigned application(s), documents current and future state workflows, performs scenario-based and integrated testing, creates design/build/test/documentation artifacts, participates in vendor reviews, prepares training material and conducts training (virtual or in-person), adheres to information security practices, and participates in 24x7x365 on-call support with remote and/or on-site end-user assistance. Strong emphasis on workflow analysis, gap analyses, needs assessments, project planning, status reporting, and change management. Requires ability to communicate with stakeholders and leadership, and to contribute to team guidelines and policies. Education indicates a High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience; Epic Ambulatory experience and PMP certification are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Experience in EHR systems
- Epic Ambulatory/Outpatient build experience (preferred)
- Project Management experience (PMP certification a plus)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to train end-users and develop documentation
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation for 24x7x365 support
- Remote and/or on-site support experience
