Job Summary
Electronic Communication Surveillance Analyst role focusing on identifying potential market abuse and insider trading through reviews of surveillance alerts, coordinating with business and compliance stakeholders, and conducting alert-based reviews for regulatory compliance in financial markets. Requires experience with trade surveillance, familiarity with financial products (equities, futures, fixed income), and proficiency in surveillance systems (e.g., Smarsh Connected Archive, NICE VOISS). Based in Hyderabad, India, with responsibilities spanning cross-market risk identification, escalation of potential misconduct, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced compliance environment.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified graduate with minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in E-Communication/trade surveillance process
- Product experience with financial products (including equities, futures and Fixed income) and/or information barriers / Asset management
- An understanding of markets and potential market manipulative behavior and a demonstrated ability to conduct reviews relating to regional rules, regulations and policies
- Experience with Smarsh Connected Archive, NICE VOISS or similar surveillance systems is a plus
