Job Summary

Monitor and maintain student training infrastructure, ensuring Active Directory accounts are properly configured and enterprise networks remain functional. Troubleshoot connectivity, interoperability, and security compliance issues while managing users, computers, and hardware assets through routine maintenance, break and fix support, and backup recovery. Perform onsite service center support for workstation and server installations, including board replacements and cable switching, while utilizing system monitoring tools to identify problem areas and communicate performance metrics. Requires Interim or active Secret clearance, three years of relevant experience, and the ability to work onsite in Oak Harbor, WA.

Required Qualifications

  • Interim or an active Secret clearance
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Electronic Documentation, System Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration
  • Security+ or equivalent Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with connectivity, interoperability, operational readiness, and security and compliance systems maintenance
  • Experience with systems and hardware and software administration and integration
  • Experience with routine maintenance, including break and fix, backup and recovery, and inventory and asset management
  • Ability to perform onsite service center support
  • Sit for extended periods of time and work at a computer workstation
  • Use hands and fingers to operate keyboards, mice, and other input devices
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Specific vision abilities required may include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
  • Stand, walk, bend, or reach; Access equipment located in data centers, offices, or under desks
  • Lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-media systems support and community of interest (COI) network operations
  • Experience with local group policy management and file share, system, and account administration
  • Experience with configuration and change management and life cycle support
  • Experience with workstation and server hardware installation, maintenance, board replacement, and cable switching
  • Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of system development, software maintenance, and ancillary functions
  • Knowledge of cyber defense compliance and accreditation services
