Job Summary
Electronic Assembly Technician responsibilities include calibrating and programming microprocessor-controlled electronic equipment, modifying boards from engineering drawings with guidance, installing and soldering components onto circuit boards, assembling electronic enclosures and test systems with meters, and applying potting compounds and conformal coatings as required by drawings and procedures. The role requires attention to detail, good verbal communication, and adaptability to various tasks within a precision electronics manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Electronics or equivalent
- One to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certification to IPC-J-STD-001 is desired
