Electronic Assembler Technician

Job Summary

Assemble electronic components and systems using hand tools, soldering equipment, and automated machinery. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to wire and solder components onto circuit boards. Perform inspections and testing to verify product quality, while troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing faulty assemblies. Document testing results, maintain accurate production records, and calibrate assembly equipment as needed. Follow established safety procedures, cleanroom protocols, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical school certification or related electronics manufacturing experience
  • Experience with soldering, wiring, electronic assembly, and testing
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills and experience maintaining production documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Desired Qualifications

  • PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly experience
  • Experience working in electronics manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with testing and diagnostic equipment
  • Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures
  • Experience in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment
