Job Summary
Perform tests, monitoring, and examinations in the operating room as part of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring; apply biopotential electrodes for complex electroneurodiagnostic testing, record and analyze electrical activity from eyes, ears, nerves, spinal cord, brain, and muscles; identify and troubleshoot artifacts; document recording parameters and observations; assist in training IONM specialists and residents, participate in research activities, and provide on-call coverage supporting the attending surgeon and anesthesiologist; work per diem with rotating/variable shifts; HIPAA-compliant, safety-conscious, and collaborative team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation requirements
- two years of experience in a laboratory performing clinical electroneurodiagnostic tests OR equivalent education/experience
