Job Summary
Install and configure electromechanical systems, sensors, actuators, and robotic arms in packaging and warehouse areas. Perform routine maintenance on conveyor belts, fillers, sealers, and wrapping machines while diagnosing faults in electrical and control systems. Program controllers and calibrate machinery to ensure proper operation, then document all activities in the CMMS. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to address complex issues and assist with system upgrades. Work within rotating shifts including weekends in an industrial environment. Use protective equipment and essential hand tools while adhering to safety protocols. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work with heavy machinery and equipment
- Use of protective equipment (PPE) is required
- Essential hand tools are required
- Must be available for rotating shift or shift operations
- Must be available for irregular hours and weekends
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions clearly
- Careful attention to machine specifications and tolerances
- Proficient in electrical wiring, circuit design, and troubleshooting
- Experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotics
- Understanding of sensors, actuators, and motion control systems
- Familiarity with automation software (e.g., PLC programming, SCADA, HMI)
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and control systems
- Experience with automated systems, robotics, and industrial machinery
- Associate's degree or diploma in Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Equivalent experience in electromechanical/mechatronics

- Education: Associate's degree or diploma in Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Equivalent experience in electromechanical/mechatronics may be considered
- 2+ years of experience working with automated systems, robotics, and industrial machinery is highly preferred
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and control systems is highly preferred
- Experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotics
- Familiarity with automation software (e.g., PLC programming, SCADA, HMI)
- Understanding of sensors, actuators, and motion control systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively
