Job Summary

Electromechanical Technician I builds, assembles or installs prototype parts for Bluberi's R&D team and maintains EGMs in Bluberi offices. Responsibilities include constructing and maintaining new setups for Programming, QA and Technology groups; supporting development of mechanical/electronic prototypes; building prototype electronic harnesses and wood/plastic prototype parts; repairing electronic boards; assembling products; programming chipsets; handling inter-company shipments; entering shipping/receiving data; and performing other tasks as assigned. Required skills include a vocational diploma/certificate in electromechanics or related experience; ability to interpret electronic schematics; strong mechanical assembly skills; proficiency with workshop tools (table saw, router, grinder); bilingual English/French; highly organized, autonomous with good time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational diploma or certificate in electromechanics or related area or relevant experience
  • Ability to interpret electronic schematics
  • Strong mechanical assembly skills
  • Ability to use a table saw, a router, a grinder and other workshop tools
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English and French
  • Well organized, fully autonomous, attentive to detail
  • Very good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
