Job Summary

Maintain electrical and mechanical systems on automation equipment by troubleshooting problems, implementing corrective measures, and performing preventative maintenance on distribution and manufacturing gear. Dismantle machines to access problem areas, operate metalworking machines like lathes and presses to fabricate parts, and use diagnostic tools to analyze and predict failures. Remove defective components and inspect parts for wear or misalignment while strictly adhering to work safe practices, including PPE, confined space safety, and chemical handling protocols. Full-time Sunday through Wednesday or night shift rotation. Requires 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience, fluency in English, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in English; speak, read, and write
  • Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to frequently reach up to 31-77 inches
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Regularly stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl
  • Ability to reach and handle objects, tools, or controls

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 1+ years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience or experience in a related field
  • Experience with low and high voltage electrical systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of operating principles of frequency drives, servos, electrical and PLCs
