Job Summary
ElectroMechanical Technician I 1st Shift responsible for operations support, setup, maintenance, and operation of high-speed automatic packaging equipment. Requires electromechanical troubleshooting to support and assist in maintenance and operation of automated packaging equipment within a cGMP production environment. Maintains EHS guidelines and promotes adherence. Collaborates with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering; troubleshoots and repairs machine breakdowns, operates packaging equipment, assists in training new machine operators and mechanics, records data, calibrates sensors/measurement gauges, and performs preventative and on-demand maintenance, including calibration of packaging equipment and coordinating OEM support. Proficient in PLC knowledge and basic programming (structured text, ladder logic); advanced electrical troubleshooting (controls, servos, robotics, medium voltage). Strong communication of complex technical issues and troubleshooting strategies internally and externally. Willingness to adapt work hours based on business needs."
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 4 years of industrial automation/packaging experience
- Windows Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency
- ability to read safety rules and procedures
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to speak before groups of customers or employees
