Job Summary
Electromechanical Technician (Day Shift) responsible for providing engineering support for plant equipment. Tasks include troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment, implementing process improvement projects related to sustainability, cost savings, quality or throughput, and assessing equipment needs with recommendations. Document changes in CMMS, support training opportunities to enhance engineering capabilities, and work in a self-directed, high-paced environment. Key tools/skills include PLCs, HMI, SCADA, Ethernet, servos, motors, VFDs, P&ID/PFD interpretation, and KRONES-related productivity initiatives. Role operates on a 2-2-3 day schedule with rotating weekends off (6 AM–6 PM). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; 3+ years experience recommended. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
- 3+ years of experience required
- Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment (PLCs, I/O, HMI, Ethernet)
- Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical equipment (servos, motors, VFDs)
- Knowledge of control system principles and failure modes
- Interpretation of electrical schematics, P&IDs, and PFDs
- Experience with CMMS software and SCADA systems
- Strong documentation and communication skills
