Job Summary
Electromechanic to maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in the production facility. You’ll work hands-on with production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to safe, efficient operations. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical systems, supporting morning production startup, performing fabrication and welding as needed, participating in equipment upgrades and improvement projects, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment while adhering to food safety and workplace safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years or older
- D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing setting
- Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, kneeling, standing for long periods)
- Ability to work at heights and overtime/weekends/holidays with notice
- Basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation
