Job Summary
As an Electromechanic, maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in a production facility. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment to keep production running; support morning startup and ensure equipment readiness. Execute fabrication, welding, and modification tasks as needed; participate in equipment upgrades and improvement projects. Maintain a clean, organized workshop and plant environment; comply with food safety and workplace safety standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills; safety-first mindset; capable of independent work.
Required Qualifications
- D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, kneeling, standing for long periods)
- Ability to work at heights and overtime/weekends/holidays with notice
- Basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation
