Job Summary
As an Electromechanical Technician, you will maintain and improve the facility's mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, work hands-on with production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support safe, efficient production. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, assist with morning production startup, carry out fabrication, welding, and modification tasks, participate in equipment upgrades, keep a clean, organized workshop and plant, and uphold food safety and workplace safety standards. Preferred qualifications include TIG welding, familiarity with labeling and packaging equipment, HACCP knowledge, strong communication and teamwork, and a safety-first mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- Comfortable with physical tasks: lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, kneeling, standing for long periods
- Ability to work at heights and flexible to work overtime, weekends or holidays with notice
- Basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation
