Job Summary
Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, installing and aligning mechanical components, servicing motors, gearboxes, conveyors, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment, supporting automation and control specialists, maintaining maintenance documentation, managing spare parts, and contributing to safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with 480V/3-phase systems, PLC automation, and motor drives; associate degree or technical certification preferred. Shift availability includes various Monday-Saturday schedules; full-time with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical Technology, or related field preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Experience with industrial electrical systems including 480V/3-phase equipment
- Experience troubleshooting motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and mechanical drive systems
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing equipment
- Basic understanding of PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems
- Experience with motor drives such as Allen Bradley, ABB, Yaskawa, or similar systems
- Ability to diagnose mechanical failures such as bearing failures, misalignment, or drive system issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple maintenance issues simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Commitment to maintaining safe work practices and following safety procedures
- Minimum of five years of experience in industrial maintenance or related electromechanical field preferred
