Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and service electromechanical equipment at retail locations by performing reactive and preventative repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Respond to all service calls within customer expectations, arriving on time with necessary tools, parts, and safety equipment. Order and manage inventory, perform cost-effective repairs, and provide accurate documentation via handheld device. Evaluate preventable service problems and educate customers on recommendations as directed by the DSM. Travel to customer sites independently while adhering to all OSHA and company safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Use computer applications including Microsoft office and call management software
- Know and understand safety regulations required as it relates to equipment repair
- Strong organization skills
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Proof of insurance
- Satisfactory background check
- Ability to stand, bend, and drive for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work at heights of more than 6 ft
