Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and service electromechanical equipment at retail locations by performing reactive and preventative repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Respond to all service calls within customer expectations, arriving on time with required tools, parts, and safety gear. Complete documentation via handheld device, order necessary parts, and maintain inventory while adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations. Evaluate preventable service problems as directed and educate customers on recommendations. Travel independently to customer sites, perform inventory reconciliation, and return parts following instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Use computer applications including Microsoft office and call management software
- Know and understand safety regulations required as it relates to equipment repair
- Strong organization skills
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Proof of insurance
- Satisfactory background check
- Ability to stand
- Ability to bend
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work at heights of more than 6 ft
