Electromechanical Assembler

Job Summary
Assemble complex electromechanical medical devices, subassemblies, and components in accordance with engineering drawings, wiring schematics, bills of materials, and approved work instructions. Perform electrical wiring, cable assembly, soldering, crimping, and mechanical assembly using hand, pneumatic, and power tools. Read and interpret technical documentation to verify workmanship and ensure products meet quality and regulatory standards. Perform functional testing and basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve manufacturing defects, while identifying material shortages or documentation discrepancies impacting production. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support new product introductions, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while accurately completing production documentation and travelers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Three (3) or more years of experience assembling electromechanical products in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience performing precision soldering in accordance with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards
- Experience reading engineering drawings, wiring schematics, assembly instructions, and technical documentation
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across functional teams
