Job Summary
Electromechanic role on night shift (3 x 12 hours, 5:30PM–5:30AM) reporting to Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing or replacing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical components; reading hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical plans; performing preventive maintenance; using machining tools to fabricate parts; assisting installation or improvement of production equipment; ensuring timely completion with minimal production stoppages; communicating with operators; maintaining a clean, safe, organized work environment; continuously seeking knowledge and improvements; and performing related tasks. Requires DEC/diploma in electromechanics and 5–7 years in manufacturing; bilingual in French and English; autonomy, thoroughness, proactivity and problem-solving skills. Required Qualifications
- DEC in industrial mechanics or Diploma in electromechanics
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry
- Basic knowledge of cutting, manufacturing and welding tools
- Ability to read plans, sketches and service bulletins
- Good knowledge of French and English spoken and written
