Job Summary
Electro-Mechanical Technician at Keurig Dr Pepper responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving process and packaging equipment to maximize production while upholding safety and quality standards. Leads maintenance improvements, supports TPM and autonomous maintenance, and teaches basic mechanical skills to line operators. Responsibilities include analyzing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical problems; repairing via adjustments, parts replacement, or fabrication; wiring control circuits; fabricating and installing piping; welding and machining as needed; performing size changeovers on liquid fillers and packaging equipment; identifying root causes of failures; and programming minor changes in Allen-Bradley PLCs. Demonstrates KDP values and participates in continuous improvement initiatives. 3rd shift role (Sun-Thu, 10PM-6:30AM) with overtime flexibility. Benefits available from day one; competitive pay starting around $40.74/hour with progression after 6 months.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience maintaining, troubleshooting, & repairing mechanical & electrical/controls/PLC systems (Allen-Bradley systems experience required, including, but not limited to, the Rockwell FactoryTalk suite of software, Logix platform, & proficient understanding of Allen-Bradley) required.
- Ability to diagnose and support motion control systems
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, and configuring industrial drives
- Ability to load and configure HMI terminals and associated project files
- Ability to read and understand complex instructions, prints, flowchart, block diagram, and schematics.
- Ability to competently use and understand precision testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
