Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance by inspecting equipment, checking fluid levels, lubricating parts, and replacing defective components. Install and repair electrical apparatus, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while dismantling machinery and adjusting components. Listen for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions and discuss operations with line staff. Follow guidance from senior colleagues and assist junior staff with routine questions while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Requires a high school diploma and 2-4 years of experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- 2-4 years of experience
- Solid understanding of preventive maintenance and inspection procedures
- Ability to inspect, test, dismantle, and repair mechanical and electrical components
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and related equipment
- Skill in reading and applying diagrams, layouts, and technical instructions
- Ability to detect malfunctions, share findings, and recommend corrective actions
- Experience installing and maintaining machinery, equipment, and facility structures
- Capability to support and occasionally guide junior colleagues
- Works well under general guidance while following safety and operating procedures
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and compliance with procedures
