Job Summary
Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking, component adjustment, and lubrication. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures while using electrical test equipment to troubleshoot circuitry. Create work orders in an asset management system, locate spare parts, and respond to service calls to correct equipment failures. Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and identify issues as they occur to ensure equipment meets specifications. This night-shift position covers 5pm to 5am on a Panama swing schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds
- Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours
- Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required
- Night-shift from 5pm-5am
- Panama swing shift schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or vocational technical training
- Specialized skill training/certification
- 2-3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment
- Proven experience in the area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above
