Job Summary
Maintain and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while inspecting critical facility infrastructure including HVAC, air compressors, and humidification units. Fabricate repair parts, interpret engineering blueprints, and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns using corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance techniques. Communicate production impacts with the team, prepare maintenance reports, and fix safety hazards to ensure compliance with GMP and OSHA standards. This 3rd shift position (Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am) requires physical stamina for tight machine spaces and includes day shift training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of professional experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, fluid, or control systems
- Must be willing to work 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am)
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electro‐Mechanical Technology
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical control systems (Building automation, machinery, production automation)
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
- Ability to record, report, and articulate the condition of equipment and recommended repairs or corrective actions
- Knowledge in the following areas: HVAC, electrical safety, pneumatic principles, tubing, pipe-fittings, rotating machinery (pumps, air compressors, etc.), machining, and welding
- PLC troubleshooting/programming capability
- Operational knowledge of multi-meters and operation of various hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of high-pressure gas, flammable gas, refrigeration gases, and recovery
- Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
- Physically able to work on your feet, lift, and navigate tight machine spaces
