Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for day-to-day facility upkeep, including manufacturing/distribution equipment repair and preventative maintenance to keep the facility and equipment in top condition. Duties include troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, HVAC and electrical/electronic equipment; proposing cost-saving upgrades; developing and maintaining SOPs and the Preventative Maintenance program; coordinating with cross-functional teams; repairing office furniture and equipment; general facility maintenance (snow removal, sidewalk maintenance, lighting); completing work orders by due dates; sourcing and ordering parts; performing additional maintenance tasks as needed; and overtime/on-call as required for business needs. Requires an industrial mechanic's degree or certification with 5–8 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and PLC/electrical schematic proficiency; GMP experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Industrial mechanic's degree or certification required with an electrical/mechanical repair background
- minimum of 5 to 8 years related work experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- PLC knowledge; troubleshooting and programming
- Reading European/American electrical and mechanical schematics and prints
- Knowledge of micrometer and calipers; ability to fabricate brackets/guards with hand tools
- Experience in GMP environments is a plus
