Job Summary
Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician II maintains, troubleshoots, and tests electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include safely diagnosing electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems; troubleshooting PLCs and electronic drives; working with PID controllers; performing preventative maintenance per OEM manuals; developing process documentation, quality plans, training, and operating instructions; mentoring others and working independently or in teams; and responding to after-hours call-ins with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- relevant experience in industrial maintenance
- knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- ability to work independently and demonstrate strong technical knowledge and communication skills
- strong problem-solving ability
- ability to mentor and assist in training others
- willingness to overtime and after-hours call-ins
- experience with PLCs and electronic drives is desired
- ability to follow OEM maintenance manuals and develop documentation
