Job Summary
Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift based in Belmont, WI. Repair and maintain production and packaging equipment in a dairy/food manufacturing plant, including electro-mechanical and servo-mechanical systems; perform preventive maintenance; read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders; use voltmeters and other test instruments; operate and test robotic equipment; communicate effectively with operators and supervision; document parts usage with inventory software; must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, stand for the shift, and work weekends. Compensation includes base pay of $37.75-$41.40 per hour plus a 2nd shift premium and weekend premium; sign-on bonus available. Education and experience requirements include a High School/GED plus an Electro-Mechanical maintenance credential (associate degree, certificate, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience), plus prior electro-mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing and preferred dairy/food manufacturing exposure.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Associate's Degree, Certificate or Apprenticeship, and/or equivalent experience
- Previous electro-mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience in food or dairy manufacturing (preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders
- Ability to operate and test electro-mechanical and robotic equipment
- Proficient with testing instruments (voltmeter, etc.)
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and recordkeeping via inventory management software
- English language communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work weekends
- Ability to work in a clean, sanitary food manufacturing environment
