Job Summary
Interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions to execute final assembly of complex electro-mechanical sub-systems. Fit, align, and secure mechanical components while routing cables, tubing, and wiring for proper function. Identify defective parts, operate shop tools safely, and perform functional checks to ensure build quality. Complete production records accurately and maintain a clean work area following 5S practices. Collaborate with team members to obtain components and adhere to all safety policies. Work overtime as needed to meet schedule commitments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing
- Proficient with hand tools and common manufacturing equipment
- Able to read engineering drawings and travelers
- Basic electronics knowledge and familiarity with PLC operations
- Physical capability to stand, bend, twist, and sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Good near vision and fine motor skills for precision assembly
- Willingness to adhere to all safety policies and contribute to continuous improvement
- Quality-focused with strong attention to detail and repeatability
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity; excellent hand-eye coordination for small parts
- Ability to follow standardized procedures thoroughly and consistently
- Time-management skills with respect for priorities and deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in cable/tube routing and mechanical assembly in a regulated environment
