Job Summary
Electro-Mechanical Assistant Site Manager with supervisory experience leading maintenance of material handling systems on a Salt Lake City, UT site. Responsibilities include supervising and measuring KPIs and fault data, analyzing performance data, directing maintenance improvements, building reports to demonstrate ongoing improvements in maintenance and operations of material handling equipment, and coordinating on-site with 3PL warehouse operators. Must have strong mechanical knowledge (drives, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers) and electrical skills (wiring, AC power, AC motors, electrical drawings & schematics, control panels); familiarity with servo drives, PLCs, PC controllers, DC power supplies, encoders, and photo eyes is highly valued. Role requires on-site supervision, safety adherence, spare parts inventory management, and on-site communication. On-site shift is 2-10:30pm, Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and overtime. Qualifications include an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience, 5 years in a related field, and demonstrated supervisory and reporting capabilities. Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 5 years proven track record in a directly related field
- supervisory experience in a maintenance/operations context
- ability to supervise & measure Key Performance Indicators and fault data
- ability to build reports and communicate improvements
- working experience with MS Office products
- identify predictive maintenance repairs to maintain system availability
- effective on-site communication with warehouse operators and management
- ability to coordinate with third-party service providers
- willingness to overtime or additional resources as needed
- understanding of maintenance and operations of material handling equipment
- knowledge of mechanical components (drives, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers) and electrical systems (AC power, AC motors, drawings & schematics, control panels)
- familiarity with servo drives, PLCs, PC controllers, DC power supplies, encoders, sensors
