Job Summary

Perform SMT and through-hole soldering, including fine-pitch component assembly and rework using magnification equipment. Assemble electro-mechanical products, subassemblies, and complete box-build systems while building, routing, terminating, and labeling wires, cables, and harnesses. Read schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, bills of materials, and engineering change orders to inspect assemblies for quality and compliance. Prepare materials by cutting, stripping, and organizing components, maintaining clean work areas and adhering to safety procedures. Requires minimum 3 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience, proven SMT and through-hole soldering skills, and ability to read technical drawings. Full-time 1st shift position in Lockport with competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience, military technical training, or a combination of both
  • Proven experience with SMT and through-hole soldering, including fine-pitch components
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
  • Flexibility to work overtime as production needs require
  • Ability to perform repetitive precision assembly tasks
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 pounds regularly

Desired Qualifications

  • IPC soldering certification or equivalent electronics assembly training
  • Experience working in electronics manufacturing or precision instrumentation environments
