Job Summary
Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician for 2nd shift at Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing. Responsible for electro-mechanical assembly of hardware including electrical chassis, cables, PCB assemblies, and integrated assemblies. Uses torque drivers, crimpers, and strippers; reads mechanical drawings and assembly instructions; collaborates with design and manufacturing engineers to troubleshoot build problems; works in a team environment across functions. Requires High School diploma/GED and 3-5 years related experience, ability to read drawings, and US citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance. IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 certifications are preferred.

- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
- Working knowledge of specialized tools used in electrical-mechanical assembly (torque drivers, crimpers, strippers)
- Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions
- Preferred: IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification
- Preferred: J-STD-001 certification
