Job Summary
Assemble barfeed systems, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings, schematics, and standard operating procedures. Perform electrical wiring, cable routing, crimping, soldering, and connector installation while installing mechanical components such as motors, actuators, and sensors. Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting to ensure product quality, inspect completed assemblies for compliance, and maintain accurate production records. Read and interpret bills of materials and assembly instructions, report material shortages or defects, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives. Operate forklifts as needed and use various hand and power tools safely. Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- six to one year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Driver's License
- Forklift Certification
- Must be able to stand regularly
- Must frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
