Electro-Mechanical Assembler II

Assemble, calibrate, and run diagnostic tests on Quartz MEMS sensors and IMU assemblies while working under a microscope. Perform basic assembly tasks using precision tools, apply epoxies and coatings, and operate cure ovens. Prepare fragile parts, execute cross-checks and production verification, and update status reports and logs. Rotate between 2-3 positions on the assembly line and adapt to multiple product lines as needed. Requires proficiency in 25-50% of primary line tasks, adherence to Kan Ban and Lean standards, and flexibility for occasional overtime and Saturday work. This role supports the QMEMS Final Assembly department at Emcore's Concord facility.
