Job Summary
Assemble, test, and package electro-mechanical and electronic products according to work orders, engineering drawings, and manufacturing instructions. Perform bench-level and shop-floor assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and completed units while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, ESD, and production requirements. Use hand and power tools, including torque-controlled electric drills and basic measuring devices, to execute builds in a timely manner. Collect parts from inventory, set up daily work per supervisor direction, and perform functional testing to verify operation. Rotate between workstations, cross-train to support other departments, and maintain a clean work area while following all safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and basic schematics
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to workmanship quality
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to tolerate long periods of standing and/or walking
- Ability to bend, stretch, reach, and climb as required
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
