Job Summary
Electro-Mechanical Assembler (B) — 1st Shift in Glenolden, PA. Core hours 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, M-F. Hourly rate $22. Assemble and/or test electro-mechanical components from manufacturing docs, work orders, and drawings. Use machines or hand tools to crimp, stake, bolt, rivet, solder, cement, or press fit parts; mount electrical components (transformers, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits); make electrical connections via soldering; perform in-process testing with multimeters and dielectric machines; assist in resolving production issues; identify opportunities for continuous improvement; collaborate in a team environment for flow assembly. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months in an electro-mechanical environment, and ITAR compliance as a U.S. person. Preferred: an Associate/Technical degree, 6+ months soldering and blueprint reading, PCB assembly/testing, PPE use, J Std soldering certification, and ability to read blueprints and measure with basic tools.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent from accredited institution
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in electro-mechanical environment
- No immigration sponsorship for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/H-1B etc.
- Active-Duty Military Service member candidates exempt from geographical area limitation (50-mile radius)
