Job Summary
Maintenance Technician to preserve and service plant machinery and electrical systems. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on motors, gearboxes, pumps, and associated electrical components; repairing machinery parts (bearings, pulleys, mechanisms); plumbing (CPVC and threaded); electrical work on AC 480/240 3PH, panels, breakers, fuses, switches, sensors, safety interlocks, lighting; performing preventive maintenance of electrical systems; applying LOTO; using forklift, man-lift, and power tools. Requires hands-on repair capabilities, strong understanding of electrical systems, basic control-system knowledge, manual dexterity, troubleshooting, concentration, patience, attention to detail, and team-oriented, safety-conscious work style; overtime may be required. High School Diploma or GED preferred; CMPRP designation is desirable. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Minimum one year of work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Basic knowledge of control systems
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
- Safety Protocols
- Team Work Environment
- CMRP is desired
