Job Summary
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, conveyors, PLCs, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. Diagnose root causes of equipment failures, troubleshoot combustion systems, and install conduit, wiring, and computer-based control systems. Execute preventive maintenance activities to reduce breakdowns and ensure optimal functionality while reading schematics and adhering to safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory. Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests. Full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm with on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain current OSHA Certified Powered Industrial Vehicle operator license.
- Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience with mechanical equipment in a heavy industrial environment.
- Must have exhibited excellent attendance in prior work history and be committed to maintaining such attendance.
- Must be able to sufficiently read, write, and understand English.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain current OSHA Certified Powered Industrial Vehicle operator license.
