Job Summary
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical failures on production equipment including conveyors, automated machinery, CNC equipment, robotics, and material handling systems. Troubleshoot complex systems using electrical schematics, PLC logic, and diagnostic equipment to identify root causes, while performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment following established schedules. Service mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission equipment, and program programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces, and building automation systems. Respond to emergency breakdowns quickly to minimize production downtime, maintain accurate documentation in the CMMS, and ensure safety compliance with lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA regulations. Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance during planned downtime. Requires 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, a technical degree, and ability to work safely on 480V systems.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
- Associate degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work safely on 480V three-phase power systems
- Mechanical aptitude
- Hands-on experience servicing hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Hands-on experience servicing power transmission equipment
- Hands-on experience servicing industrial machinery
- PLC experience
- Ability to read ladder logic
- Ability to troubleshoot programmable controllers
- Experience with Allen-Bradley platforms
- Experience with Siemens platforms
- Experience with similar platforms
- Blueprint reading proficiency
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
- Ability to interpret P&IDs
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to pass drug screening
