Job Summary
Electricista needed to respond to guest repair requests, communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision, and perform preventive maintenance on tools/equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting tools/equipment, locating shut-off valves, managing maintenance inventory, and coordinating with other shifts using approved communication standards. Requires proficiency in multiple categories such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems; capable of basic repairs (e.g., PVC/soldering), troubleshooting hotel MEP systems, and assisting with painting/cleaning of repair areas. Must follow Lockout/Tagout procedures, operate engineering computer programs for preventative maintenance and energy management, and potentially train/mentor other engineers. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds, navigating stairs/ramps, and computer-assisted work. Education: high school diploma or GED; at least 2 years in hotel maintenance/engineering; valid driver’s license; CFC certification.
