Job Summary
Electromechanic responsible for maintaining and improving the mechanical, electrical, and automated systems that power the facility. Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, repairs, and optimizes mechanical and electrical systems; supports morning production startup and ensures equipment is ready; carries out fabrication, welding, and modification tasks as needed; participates in equipment upgrades and improvement projects; maintains a clean and organized workshop and plant environment; follows food safety and workplace safety standards; requires a DEP-equivalent qualification and 2+ years of industrial/manufacturing experience; physical tasks up to 50 lb, ability to work at heights and overtime; basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation; strong communication and teamwork skills; relocation assistance not available.
Required Qualifications
- D.E.P. en électromécanique ou en mécanique industrielle (ou équivalent québécois)
- Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en milieu industriel ou manufacturier
- À l’aise avec les tâches physiques : soulever (jusqu’à 50 lb), grimper, s’agenouiller, rester debout pendant de longues périodes
- Capacité à travailler en hauteur et flexibilité pour faire des heures supplémentaires, les fins de semaine ou les jours fériés avec préavis
- Connaissances de base en informatique pour la documentation de maintenance
