Job Summary
As an Electromechanic, you’ll maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, and automated systems powering the Chambly facility. You’ll work hands-on with production equipment, diagnose and repair issues, support production startup, perform fabrication, welding, and modification tasks as needed, participate in equipment upgrades, and uphold food safety and workplace safety standards. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and contributing to safe, efficient operations, with opportunities to work on projects and improve equipment alongside a team that serves the Canadian food industry.
Required Qualifications
- D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
- Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, kneeling, standing long periods)
- Ability to work at heights and overtime/weekends/holidays with notice
- Basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-starter with safety-first mindset
