Job Summary
Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment on commercial, industrial, and construction projects. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics, installing wiring, conduit, panels, lighting, and control systems, performing preventive maintenance, ensuring OSHA and NEC compliance, coordinating with project managers and other trades, documenting work progress, and assisting with material handling. Requires a high school diploma or GED; Journeyman Electrician license preferred; 2+ years of electrical experience; strong problem-solving skills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; willingness to travel if required. In-person role based in Jackson, MS.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years electrical experience in commercial/industrial/construction environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC code requirements, and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Experience bending conduit and pulling wire
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
