Job Summary
Pull and install electrical wire and cable, measure conduit with hand and power tools, and read blueprints to interpret schematics. Install and terminate electrical devices, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure project completion on schedule. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area while following all safety procedures and OSHA regulations. This role requires 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction, including proficiency with the National Electrical Code and electrical testing equipment. Candidates must be able to travel 90% of the time for national assignments, typically in two-week durations, and work independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on electrician experience
- Proficient in pulling wire, bending rigid conduit, reading blueprints/prints, and installing initiating devices
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical safety practices
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment and hand/power tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel 90% of the time
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environments
