Job Summary
Experienced Electrician needed to join Thales’ Above Water Systems team in Garden Island, NSW. Primary duties include electrical work on naval and commercial vessels and in the electrical workshop, covering preventative and reactive maintenance, and new installations. Responsibilities include running cables onboard vessels, terminating fixed wiring, fitting cable support systems, and soft soldering within panels and junction boxes; execution of tasks using battery, electric, and pneumatic tools; adherence to procedures and work practices; and collaboration within a multi-cultural, multi-trade environment. Pre-employment checks and defence security clearance are required.
Required Qualifications
- Australian recognised Electrical Trade Certificate
- White Card
- Qualified Supervisor Certificate (Electrical Licence)

- Australian citizenship required
